Up away singing into the blues

Blown away by the eastern wind

Where've the soldiers gone...?
To the front of battle-fields

Where've the lovers gone...?
To the field where grave-yards stood

Where've the children gone...?
Nobody cares,where they are.

War !
Floods !
Storms!
Violence!

Syawal Kian Berlalu

Terkawal kepingin hawa nafsu,
Ramadan pergi menumpang kasih;
Syawal datang kian berlalu,
Masakan kita tidak bersedih.


Translation:
Control your greed in life,
Ramadan been gone with love;
Syawal came by will say good-bye,
Why not we'll be sad love.

Gagak Hinggap di Pohon Angsana, pagi Aidilfitri

Gagak-gagak
dari rimba kota
Terbang ke pohon angsana
Di halaman menara putera
Membuat bising
Menanti sisa makanan
Yang akan terbuang
Dilongkang
ke sungai Gombak
Setelah selesai rumah terbuka

Apakah akan dibiarkan
Gagak-gagak ini
Berkeliaran.
Mencemari
Suasana

On Traveling

Jangan beradu menuju matlamat,
Nescaya kamu payah menduga;
Pandu cermat jiwa selamat
Sejahtera bertemu ayah dan bonda.

Translation:
Don't dare to compete your destiny
You won't be able to judge
Safe drive safe journey
Peacefully to meet love-ones lust.

Bunga Palsu Jadi Idaman

Bunga di pasu tidak disiram
Merana unggas di air mengalir
Bunga palsu menjadi idaman
Kerana malas menyiram air.

Translation:

Flowers in the pots unwatered so long
Neglected the insects from pond

False flowers been so pride out

Cause of laziness to water the plants.

Bulan Ramadan di jalan Masjid India,

Penuh sesak manusia begerak;

Bulan mulia amalan bersedia,

Penuh semarak meraya al-Mubarak.

Translation:

Ramadan at Jalan Masjid India,

Jammed of people moving side by side;

In preparation of a big day a year,

Welcoming the day of al-Mubarak.

Pelamin di duduk kerawang berukir,

Ditempah dari si pandai tukang;

Menjamin hidup hayat ke akhir,

Sejahtera dan damai dari sekarang.

Translation:
